Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering on Anemodia: DC networks and Kirchhoff's laws, capacitors and RC transients, AC and RLC circuits, single- and three-phase power, magnetic circuits and ideal transformers.

Every tool below is solved by the same typed Electrical Engineering computation modules, so a calculator and the Lab it hands off to can never disagree. Quantities are signed SI values with the passive sign convention; DC networks are solved by modified nodal analysis, and nodal and loop equations are shown as cross-checked teaching views. Models are linear and ideal, and their limits are stated with each result.

DC Networks & Kirchhoff

Ohm's law, series and parallel resistors, voltage and current dividers and Thévenin–Norton equivalents, with editable networks solved by MNA and checked against Kirchhoff's laws.

Capacitors & Transients

Capacitance, parallel-plate capacitors, series and parallel combinations, stored energy and first-order RC charge and discharge.

AC & RLC

Inductive and capacitive reactance, series RLC impedance and phase, resonance and bandwidth, and second-order RLC step response.

Power & Three-Phase

Single-phase P, Q and S, the power triangle, shunt-capacitor power-factor correction, balanced three-phase power and star–delta line and phase relations.

Magnetics & Transformers

Linear magnetic circuits, solenoid inductance, signed Faraday induction over a finite interval, ideal transformer relations and reflected load impedance.
